JazzArts Charlotte is announcing the departure of Artistic Director Ocie Davis, who will leave the organization as full-time Artistic Director at the end of August 2022.

JazzArts Charlotte is proud to be a recipient and member of South Arts’ inaugural cohort of Southern Cultural Treasures, a multi-year initiative funding 17 BIPOC arts organizations across the Southeastern region with $6 million, in partnership with the Infusion Fund.

JazzArts Charlotte will be honored with a ‘City Builders Award’ at the 2022 Center City Vision Awards on May 26th. 

JazzArts Charlotte is proud to announce that its Director of Education, Dr. Patrick Brown, has been selected to serve as the inaugural leader of the JazzArts Academy, which serves thousands of students each year.
