JazzArts Charlotte announces Charlotte’s regional premiere of a rare production of Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn’s arrangement of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite for the holiday season. The biggest production of JAZZ ROOM in its 9-year history, this performance features a full onstage All-Star 16-piece Charlotte Regional Jazz Orchestra, a dynamic ensemble of modern jazz dancers, vocalists, and more.

Charlotte, NC – September 26, 2022 – JazzArts Charlotte (JazzArts) launches its 17th season of jazz in the Queen City this October with its highly acclaimed monthly series – The JAZZ ROOM @ The Stage Door Theater. This new season features an incredible lineup, the biggest production of the JAZZ ROOM in its history, and a recognition of the 100th month of JAZZ ROOM performance for the organization.

October 2022 — CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS), in partnership with JazzArts Charlotte, announces the return of Ride with the Music, a free concert series featuring local performers at various CATS locations every Friday evening in October.
