FREE “Ride with the Music” October Concert Series

October 2022 — CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS), in partnership with JazzArts Charlotte, announces the return of Ride with the Music, a free concert series featuring local performers at various CATS locations every Friday evening in October.

“JazzArts Charlotte is thrilled to be partnering with CATS for this meaningful Ride with the Music program,” JazzArts President and CEO Lonnie Davis said. “There is so much musical talent to be shared in our community, and through this unique collaboration, local commuters and passersby will have an opportunity to enjoy the sounds of some of city’s top jazz artists as we kick off the fall season.”

It is part of the mission of JazzArts Charlotte to help nurture the audience for the great American Art Form, Jazz. This CATS program is one of many ways JazzArts Charlotte seeks to expand awareness of the music, and support local musicians.

Whether you were commuting home that way anyway, or want an excuse to swing by for some swing, we hope you enjoy some of the city’s top jazz artists as you kick off your fall weekends throughout October. We’ll share more details on JazzArts Charlotte’s Facebook, Instagram and Twitter posts each week.
