JAZZ ROOM Holiday Edition: Preservation Hall All-Stars, New Orleans Christmas

Back by popular demand, the world-renowned Preservation Hall All-Stars return to kick off the JAZZ ROOM holiday season with a lively and traditional New Orleans jazz twist. Join us for one of the most swingin’ annual celebrations in town as we keep the tradition going in support of the JazzArts Academy. This will be a joyous holiday celebration for the whole family that can’t be missed!

Tis the season to be swingin’ with THE JAZZ ROOM: Holiday Edition, featuring the Preservation Hall All-Stars! Join the Preservation Hall All-Stars as they perform popular holiday favorites with a traditional New Orleans jazz twist.  

This evening’s festivities will include a pre-concert reception and silent auction supporting the JazzArts Academy, performance-based programs, and local musicians.

New Orleans’ Preservation Hall was established in 1961 to honor one of America’s truest art forms – Traditional New Orleans Jazz. Operating as a venue, a touring band, and a non-profit organization, Preservation Hall continues its mission today as a cornerstone of New Orleans music and culture.

The Preservation Hall All-Stars are the premiere ensemble of the most tenured artists from the greater Preservation Hall musical collective. Each performer bears a unique connection to the earliest practitioners of jazz itself, some by bloodline but all united by the sheer power of tradition. In addition to performing at the Hall weekly and internationally throughout the year, these culture bearers continue to pass the torch to the younger generation through education and music outreach.
