With a luxuriant and soulful voice ‘that warmly evokes the influence of Abbey Lincoln, Shirley Horn, Carmen McRae and other jazz greats’, New Orleans-based vocalist Stephanie Jordan sings songs of love for a warm jazz Valentine’s weekend.

Stephanie Jordan is the fifth performer to emerge from her family of New Orleans bred musicians. As the daughter of saxophonist Edward “Kidd” Jordan, Stephanie’s musical roots run deep. Selected for the cover of “World’s Who’s Who in Jazz”, Jordan’s silk-between-the-fingers voice comes up in conversation alongside Diana Krall, Shirley Horn, and Carmen McRae.
