The ABC’s of Jazz

JazzArts Charlotte is thrilled to reintroduce this exciting program for preschool students and their parents/caregivers! Participants will be guided through Jazz at Lincoln Center’s award-winning curriculum which emphasizes children’s natural ability to improvise, as they explore their creativity through fun, interactive classes!

Begins February 7, 2024!

Wednesdays 1:30-2:15pm

JazzArts Charlotte will offer a “Stompers” (ages 2-3.5 years) class. The curriculum is customized to build on the developmental strengths of the students.

Stompers (ages 2-3.5)

Over the course of this interactive eight-week term, you and your child will explore core concepts of jazz such as swing, blues, improvisation, and other jazz essentials. Together you will develop your imagination, creativity, and musicality while swinging nursery rhymes, singing the blues away, scatting like Ella or improvising like Coltrane, and of course jamming with a live jazz band!

Tuition

$325 for the full 8-week session (includes $10 non-refundable registration fee).
Payment and Refund Policy:  Tuition is due at the time of registration. Full payment may be made by check, money order or credit card.  A payment plan is available, if prearranged.  A full refund will be granted up to one week before the first program day – minus a $10.00 registration fee.
