Celebrating Black History Month with NoDa Brewing Company
NoDa Brewing Company is sharing the love during Black History Month, raising an extra cheer to JazzArts Charlotte in support for our African-American musician community.
On Friday, February 11 at 3:00, NoDa Brewing Company will release its fourth rendition of the Black Is Beautiful seasonal beer. This year’s iteration of Black is Beautiful is an Imperial Porter with “loads of dark malts and cocoa nibs, fermented on Strawberry Puree, and rested on additional cocoa nibs and vanilla”. As a limited release, this beer is available at the North End Taproom until it is sold out.
Originally started as a national collaborative effort to bring attention to organizations of diversity, equity and inclusion, this special brew is created each year to raise funds for organizations that are performing work in this area. This year, NoDa Bewing Company has chosen JazzArts Charlotte.
Here’s how you can share the love:
Kicking off Friday, February 11, through the month of February or until it’s GONE
at the NoDa Brewing Company North End Taproom
2921 N. Tryon St.
$1 from each pint of Black is Beautiful sold will be donated to JazzArts Charlotte!
JazzArts Charlotte’s goal is to reflect our values of community, diversity and inclusion every day within our programming, and we’re grateful for the support of the jazz community (YOU) in sharing that extension of our mission. For Black History Month, and we are thrilled that our JAZZ ROOM, SET, and educational programming are representative of that effort, highlighting some of our fantastic local and national black musicians and educators. And we are extra grateful for this fun way to share that mission with you.
Join us in the taproom and raise a glass!
