Adam Snow - percussion

Snow, a percussionist, teaches applied percussion lessons, drum set lessons and percussion methods at Winthrop. In past semesters, Snow has directed both the Percussion Ensemble and the Jazz Ensemble. Along with teaching at Winthrop, Snow also teaches percussion at Davidson College and at his home studio in Charlotte, N.C.

Snow also is an active performer throughout the southeast, working regularly in several different bands. His work with the jazz fusion groups, Green Light and Automatic Chi, has received critical acclaim and includes performances at New Orleans’ Jazz and Heritage Festival and at NYC’s Knitting Factory. He also plays straight-ahead jazz weekly with the Lovell Bradford Trio and can be heard regularly with the dub reggae band House on Fire. Snow is a member of the funk/R&B band The Fabulous Swingin’ Richards.
